Tips for making homemade cleaning products:
- Label the spray bottles with your homemade glass cleaner so you don’t forget what it is — or what’s in it.
- Be sure to never mix ammonia and bleach… or products containing those cleansers.
- Rubbing alcohol works not just to clean, but to make the solution dry more quickly.
- For super-dirty windows, you can try adding 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of baking soda or Borax to the solution. These both offer a little bit of an abrasive, plus are natural deodorizers.
